![]() 7340 forum posts 1229 photos 2 articles | Dear All A friend of mine is selling a boat that her late father built LINK I have seen the model in real life and can confirm how well it has been constructed. It has been built from high grade 3mm ply and hardwoods, the engine bearers for I.C. have been installed but the model can easily be converted to electric. A prop tube has also been fitted. In my opinion the model is worth at least £230 and I would have bought it myself but I simply don't have any more storage space. It is an excellent build and will make a beautiful model when finished so please don't embarrass me yourself by making low offers. If anyone is interested please contact Beth through ebay, but please be aware that the purchase will involve collecting the model from Mold. Paul

![]() 1367 forum posts 350 photos | Its certainly a beautiful bit of woodwork and probably the first model of that type of boat that I have seen in bare wood. I hope it gets varnished as hiding all that beneath paint would be a shame! I could even be tempted but I am not able to drive at the moment so I just hope the model finds a deserving home. |

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.
In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.
The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!
I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
