Wooden Boat Festival Hobart Tasmania

Hi Lads

Well lovely summer day with lots of big boats out on the Derwent River.

I Photo all the model boats of which some came from Australia for the Festival.

So enjoy the photos and I will running a model and craft show in March.

The flooring was on a wooden full size canoe !!!

Just finish up restoring a club members Moorcock tug, all five foot of the beast.

Mainly the hull and added stainless strips to the keel which where from car windscreen wiper blades.

Only 21C today and a nice sea breeze from the water.

That`s some variety of boats there Harry. The level of detail on a lot of them is amazing. A lot of work required to achieve that.. Jealous of your warm weather, minus 5c here last night. Old bones don`t like the cold. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Fantastic pictures of some wonderful models. Sad that we are all currently talking about the loss of yet another model boat show at the same time. Interesting to see British manufactured kits being built in Australia.
