HI folks

Anyone out there who can help ??  Im going to build a display only M H and B Topaz, and im looking for steam plant to fit.  As its just going to be a display only, a bag of bits would do, which I can do up to look the biz.  I cannot run to a new plant, and anyway would be a bit of a waste as its for looks only.... Anyone got anything they would care to sell at some reasonable price ??

Regards to all

there is a guy who regularly sells on ebay Toys and Games section, boats and Hovercraft, called Boatmanwales whom was selling a little while ago dummy steam engines made from wood, brassand plasticard which looked very realistic.

Have a look on there for his name and contact him. they sold for peanuts (20-30 quid) and were really nice looking.neil.

Neil

many thanks for the info I certainly will have a look.  I guess I could muster up some bits from my gash box, its just im getting a bit idle, and it would waste good and valuable beer time......

Regards

Chris

Make your own contribution to the Website

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.

In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.

The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their  expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!

I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
