![]() 4 forum posts 5 photos | I recently got my old Mini40 Kwiki down from the attic. Below is a picture of her sailing on the sea at Penzance around 1997 or so. Managed to find all the bits. Sails not in a great state, but after much tinkering managed to get it on the water on Friday. No wind of course. Anyway, it is great to be able to get the old boat sailing again. And looking forward to going out again Here is a link to a copy of my old website about the project https://kwikius.github.io/kwiki/Kwiki/uber_frame.htm

![]() 4 forum posts 5 photos | Here is another photo. I remember the day the photos were taken. We were at Marazion. A fellow Penzance model boat club member, Tim Grose took this picture by standing waist deep in the sea as the boat shot past. As well as photos,he also made some nice boats including Mini40s' in those days. Edited By Andy Little on 10/09/2023 22:33:13 |

![]() 4 forum posts 5 photos | Great to see some other multihulls sailing! They do tend to be quite big boats. Ray, is there any way you could simplify the rigging so you can get the rig on and off fast and easily? Anyway I hope you get her back on the water soon. She looks superb, as does the Seamew.

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.
In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.
The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!
I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
