Chantry Model Boat Club will be holding an open weekend on 23rd & 24th July 2022. All are welcome.

Thank you for the invite, it would have been nice to visit a club that I have read so much about, however, with the price of fuel at the moment, I just can't justify the expense of the trip from Lincoln for a day out.

Maybe in the future when things settle down, the wife & I can visit & have a "long weekend" and bring a boat to sail whilst down there.

We, like a lot of others, are well overdue a holiday, Kent is one of the places we have yet to experience.

Hi All,

Chantry club as busy as ever yesterday, this is the mixed fleet (anything under 1m long) can race only rule is no "T" boning allowed, here they have all started well and are heading for the windward mark

Mainly Victoria's & RG 65's

The post code is DA9 9ST

Best to park in the John Lewis car park and walk past the kids creche to the lake, I'm going on Sunday all being well.

Make your own contribution to the Website

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.

In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.

The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their  expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!

I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
